Deputy Service Manager – Urgent Unscheduled Pathway

22.5 hours – Fixed term 6 Months

The Medicine and Unscheduled Care Portfolio is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative individual to join the Urgent Unscheduled Pathway team as a Deputy Service Manager.  The diverse pathways across the portfolio comprise of a wide variety of complex services, delivering care to patients within both inpatient and outpatient settings and across a number of sites throughout NHS Grampian and beyond.

This is a chance to build upon experience in a fast paced and high profile portfolio that represents a key performance area for NHS Grampian.

The post holder will have delegated responsibility for day to day operational service management across a number of exciting services, as well as engaging in service improvement work and driving innovation and change.

The successful candidate will be organised and adaptable, with a proven track record of service delivery, excellent people management skills, experience in understanding and presenting data and collaborative working. This is a demanding position, but one which will offer excellent opportunities for career development and progression.
