An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker to work within the Community Nursing Service in North East Fife.  This post will be a part-time 16 hour permanent post with the Ladybank and Newburgh District Nursing Team, but may be required to work across the locality to meet staffing requirements.  

Within this role, you will be required to deliver high quality, person centered care to patients within the community, under the support and guidance of the band 5 Community Staff Nurses. Experience of working within the community would be advantageous for this position, however not essential and full training can be given.

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and team working are essential for this position.

You must be willing to work public holidays if and when required, and also in other areas of community within NHS Fife to meet the needs of the service.

You will be required to work within a 24 hour, 7 day Community Nursing Service.

An ability to travel across the locality is essential.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.

Please note the salary scale for this post is pro rata for part time hours.
