Advanced Nurse Practitioner
An exciting new post has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to become part of our friendly
multi-disciplinary team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist our clinical team in caring for our 17,300
patients in our beautiful listed building which has and is being extensively renovated with 2 brand
new consulting rooms and a further 2 being built this spring. We have 6 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs
and a long-term locum with 3 full time ANP colleagues. We also have a 2 Practice Nurses, a Health
Care Assistant, District Nursing team and Pharmacy support team attached as well as 2 in house
Primary Care Mental Health Workers, who all work alongside our excellent highly experienced Admin
Team. We use EMIS and Docman software.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced ANP from a General Practice background. You will ideally
be a non-medical prescriber, with experience in assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and minor
illness, and independent clinical decision making. Paediatric and mental health experience are
desirable but not essential. Training could be provided where necessary, the role would involve
providing support to the GPs in providing 20 minute face to face appointments. As an experienced
autonomous practitioner, you will be joining a forward-thinking Practice, looking to develop and
provide the future model of GP care in Fife. With the full support of the GPs we think this is an
exciting opportunity.

Training and CPD opportunities will be available.
Hours are negotiable with the added bonus of an enhanced paid extended hours evening until 7pm
Salary; highly competitive - dependent on current salary and experience
