ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER (ANP)

Auchtermuchty Health Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work with an excellent and supportive Practice Team to provide direct clinical care to patients.

Your main roles will include clinical assessment, prescribing and clinical decision making. We would also be looking for the successful applicant to have an advanced level of autonomous practice.

Our practice employed Clinical Care Team consists of 2 x GP Partners, 2 x Salaried GPs, 1x ScotGEM GCM, 3 x Advanced Nurse Practitioners & a Pharmacy Technician.

The Practice is also supported by a Mental Health Triage Nurse, Trainee ANP, General Practice Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner and a Primary Care Pharmacy Team.

The surgery wants to take on a passionate and enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner who is keen to help make a difference in the local patient population.

Your role -

·         30 hours Per week (over 4 or 5 days)

·         Work closely with other clinicians to deliver excellent care

·         20 minute appointments

·         Large free parking

·         Robust workflow optimisation in place – hugely impacting on clinical workload

·         Mixture of telephone and face-to-face appointments

·         Supported on call session each week

·         Nursing home Visits

·         Specialist interests encouraged
