The Post:

The Business Change Lead JD is generic and therefore more specific details on the post are noted below and on the person specification.

The Microsoft 365 Operational Delivery Group (ODG) for NHS Scotland is looking to recruit a Business Change lead to assist in supporting the delivery of the M365 Products and services.

This crucial role will support the ODG in its aim of a “Once for Scotland” delivery of M365 across all Scottish territorial and special Health Boards.

Working with the M365 Delivery Lead, other programme colleagues and the national M365 Service team you will lead on key programmes of work including:

  • Leading on Business Change in support of delivery against the roadmap and programme objectives.
  • Work in partnership and collaboratively with all health board representatives across NHSS to support enablement of the M365 products in line with the roadmap.
  • Provide advice, best practice, and support to NHSS boards and programme leads enabling greater adoption, benefits realisation, and success of the M365 deliverables.
  • Play a pivotal leadership role across the change programme, the M365 operational governance groups, the subject matter experts and boards change leads to support enablement and adoption of the M365 roadmap products.
  • Use best practice change methodologies in developing and executing a strategic business change plan.
  • Working at senior level across boards and governance bodies to identify barriers to adopting new products or services and finding solutions to overcome those challenges.
  • Building key relationships with M365 change leads across NHSS and other key stakeholders to facilitate alignment and readiness to adopt products on the change programme.

The Candidate:

Applications are invited from individuals who have Business Change Management experience to support national platforms and technology implementation.  

Previous experience of managing and embedding business change management as a function within a large public sector organisation would be a distinct advantage.

Location and Working Pattern:

Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow.

Currently hybrid working.

Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
