Applications are invited for a full time position of Specialty Doctor in ENT based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and University of Aberdeen. The successful candidate will join an established team including seven Consultants and three other Specialty Doctors. The department is also supported by Specialty Registrars and Foundation Doctors as well as Nurses, Audiologists, Physician Associates, and Speech and Language Therapists. The department undertakes a wide range of adult and paediatric procedures for patients from across the NHS Grampian region as well as those from Orkney and Shetland. These include Head and Neck Cancer, Thyroid and Skull Base services. The department plays an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate education. The post will be tailored to the interests of the postholder and can provide training opportunities equivalent to those of a Specialty Registrar post if required.

Aberdeenshire boasts many picturesque towns and villages within easy commuting distance and provides access to a wide range of outdoor pursuits, including skiing, hill walking and golfing. There are excellent transport links by road, rail and air.
