An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Urologist with special interest in Upper Tract Surgery (10 PAs per week) to join the Tayside Regional Urology Service. This is a permanent post based primarily at Ninewells but with further sessions at Perth Royal Infirmary
The Consultant Urologist to be appointed will have a major commitment to provide upper tract cancer management and in addition, they will also require doing general urology and emergency urology work to complement the existing team in NHS Tayside. Applications from doctors with appropriate specialist training and experience who are not listed on the GMC Specialist Register can be considered for a Locum Consultant post (up to 12 months) if no substantive Consultant appointment is made. Whilst in locum employment, an application to obtain a portfolio pathway entry onto the Specialist Register can be made.
