You may be required to travel widely in order to deliver service needs.
NHS Borders requires a maintenance assistant to aid in electrical, mechanical building maintenance activities throughout the Borders. You will join a small team responsible for providing general maintenance across the region.
You will be required to make safe, repair and maintain equipment as guided by estates officer and engineering team.
You will be required to aid colleagues in carrying out maintenance and repair activities across Borders General Hospital and community properties.
You will be required to complete maintenance of services across the hospital as directed by the Estates Officer.
You may be required to assist in Boiler operator duties when needed.
You should have hands on experience in the operation and maintenance of commercial and industrial plant.
