Finance Manager
Location: Edinburgh, Head Office. Hybrid with some additional travel to other CHAS sites, including Rachel House in Kinross.
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 35 hours/week
Salary: £50,928 – 54,567 per annum (pro rata)

The role of Finance Manager provides a unique opportunity to work with a leading Scottish Charity, supporting several exciting major projects that will be included in our forthcoming four-year strategic plan. You will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the Finance department; internal and external financial reporting and providing business partnering support across a diverse range of functions including clinical teams, fundraising, retail and hospitality.
Essential Skills:
- You will be a fully qualified accountant with a CA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA designation.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and develop a small Finance team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong track record of delivering timely, accurate and robust financial information.
- Ability to apply sound judgement in resolving complex financial matters.
- Excellent communication skills and aptitude for engaging with non-finance specialists and enhancing their financial management skills.
- Significant experience of evaluation, development, communication and implementation of a programme of improvement to financial processes, procedures and policies.
Further Information and How to Apply
Our Finance Team currently work in a Hybrid manner, primarily from our Edinburgh Head Office, a minimum of 2 days onsite per week. As part of project work, the Finance Manager will also be required onsite in our Kinross based Hospice, Rachel House, as needed. We are a committed team, working in a busy environment but we do work flexibly and are happy to discuss working practices further.
