The shift pattern is Monday-Friday 08.00-16.00.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Medical Specialities South as we grow and develop our Practice development team. The position of Practice Development Nurse will be joining an experienced Practice Development Nurse within Medicine, but will also work within an established community of Nurse Educators within South Sector.
We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills with a passion for nursing development. You will be an experienced practitioner and preferably have experience within an acute medical environment.
Although formal teaching experience is not essential, it is expected that you will have experience of supporting Students as a Practice Supervisor and Assessor. You will be able to evidence that you have experience of supporting your team through change, and promoting quality within your current position. Education and training will be provided as part of the role induction period.
It is envisaged that the posts will work predominantly 5 days a week 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. However, depending on service needs there may be a requirement to provide weekend sessions and varied hours to support night duty.
To apply you must be Registered on Part 1 on the NMC and with a minimum of 2 years post registration experience.
