NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern is 5 days over 7.
Band 5 Rotational Occupational Therapist 37 Hours
We have fantastic opportunities for a new graduate or established band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our rotation within Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The rotation is within the acute physical service and includes a wide range of clinical areas such as older peoples, medical, stroke, orthopaedics and more! We have a current open vacancy within the OT team at Inverclyde Royal Infirmary as well as potential opportunities elsewhere in Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
You must be flexible, a team player, with excellent communication and problems solving skills with a keenness to contribute to the development of the services you work in as well as your own professional development.
You must be committed to providing good quality Occupational Therapy intervention and be reflective in your practice.
We are supportive of many development opportunities including the Flying Start programme and you will have access to regular on-site clinical supervision.
This post may involve occasional weekend working to support development of services.
It is essential you have a Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy with current registration with the HCPC. A current Driving License is desirable for this post. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
