OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SUPPORT WORKER BAND 3


A position has arisen in a well established OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY team in Jubilee Hospital, Huntly.


We are seeking a well motivated, reliable Band 3 support worker with an interest in inpatient and community rehabilitation.  You would be required to work independently with patients, in the community hospital and in patients’ homes. 


We are looking for a support worker with excellent communication skills, effective organisational and time management skills and good I.T. skills.  A full driving licence and access to a car is required for work.


There will be an expectation to provide services over 7 days, including weekends/public holidays and extended hours, where required, to meet the needs of the service.


Regular supervision and support will be provided with training on the job and via the local Occupational Therapy support worker training programme.  


Previous experience in a similar position is advantageous.
