The shift pattern is, Monday to Friday.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work as Band 7 Lead clinical nurse specialist within the Long Term ventilation Service. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that high quality, safe, effective, person-centred care is delivered for patients with acute and complex ventilation needs including tracheostomy ventilated patients.
Your role involves working with both inpatients, outpatients and community across Glasgow and the West of Scotland. You will also be involved in other speciality services including The Scottish Muscle Network and MND Scotland.
We are looking for a highly trained nurse with specialist knowledge and experience who have the skills and competencies to manage a complex caseload and a small team of expert CNS’s, and the ability to work across traditional professional or service boundaries. Previous management experience is desirable and experience in respiratory medicine, ventilation, tracheostomy management and working with patients with neuromuscular conditions is essential.
