We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join us in supporting the quality of care delivery within Dr Grays Hospital in Moray.
As the Nurse Manager responsible for Medicine and Unscheduled Care, you will work closely with the Senior Nursing team and the Unit Operational Management teams to support all aspects of care delivery across Dr Grays Hospital providing visible leadership, whilst supporting professional and clinical governance.
You will have responsibility for nursing workforce planning across services and the professional development of the nursing teams. The Nurse Manager will support the Lead Nurse to provide assurance to the Chief Nurse in quality of care assurance in providing a person centred approach to care.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills at a time of continuing quality improvement. This post requires vision, innovation and the ability to work across professional boundaries and a real desire to provide the highest standards of care.
You should possess sound clinical knowledge, be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills, including the ability to offer interventions, advice and delivery of safe, effective person centred care.
This post requires you to work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team and as an autonomous practitioner across Dr Grays Hospital and under direction from the Lead Nurse and Chief Nurse. You should possess good interpersonal skills and a commitment to joint working.
The post holder must be able to demonstrate a commitment to developing a learning culture where staff growth, wellbeing and engagement are crucial in supporting the delivery of care.
NHS Grampian introduced a Portfolio approach to leadership, with Dr Grays Hospital sitting within the Moray Portfolio. The Portfolio approach aims to strengthen the relationships between Primary and Secondary Care and ultimately the provision of care within Moray.
This is also an exciting time for Dr Grays with the development of the Strategic Intent in line with the NHS Grampian Plan for the Future and the successful candidate will be engaged in this vision and direction for Dr Grays Hospital.
