We have a Clinical Fellow post available at ST equivalent level for a period of 12 months from 7th August 2024.

The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) is a large teaching hospital in Glasgow providing a wide range of secondary acute care services. The hospital has a sound academic and research base and an excellent teaching reputation with close links to the University of Glasgow.

You will join a large team of junior doctors in the department of stroke medicine. These posts have not been approved for Training purposes by NES. However, the departments have an enthusiastic team of consultants and an education faculty which will support you in your development during this post. All successful candidates will be allocated an educational supervisor and will be eligible to apply for funding to enrol for an e-portfolio account which will be used as a record of clinical experience and skills gained during this post.

To practise medicine in the UK you need to hold both GMC full registration and a Licence to Practise.

There may also be opportunities to work in QEUH departments of General Medicine, Neurology or Medicine for the Elderly, depending on the interests of the candidate.
