Post Title: BSL (British Sign Language) Sessional Interpreter
Hours: Flexible
Pay: £35 per hour (minimum of 2 hours payment per assignment)

- Currently registered as a qualified BSL interpreter with either the SRLPDC or the NRCPD
You must be fluent in British Sign Language with the appropriate training and experience to be able to interpret with consistency and accuracy between our patients and our staff in a health care setting.
You must evidence relevant experience of working as an interpreter in a public sector, advocacy or legal environment. Applications are also welcomed from candidates from private sector organisations who possess the appropriate level of qualification and/or experience. As sessional Interpreters will work in a variety of settings: Hospital, Health Centre/ Clinics and patient homes; empathy, confidentiality and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
