Substantive, Full Time– 37 hours per week

Band 7 – Salary Range £46,244 – £53,789 per annum plus

Distant Island Allowance of £2,256 per annum

Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available

This is an exciting opportunity to provide an Occupational Therapy service in a unique location with unique challenges.  The Intermediate Care Team provides rehabilitation and reablement to the population of the Shetland Islands aged 18 and over, with the majority of the caseload being older people with a variety of complex conditions.


The post holder will work primarily within the community setting in client’s homes and in Local Authority provided care homes


HCPC registered, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience with a highly developed understanding of Occupational Therapy. You will also have managerial responsibility. In addition you will need to be able to demonstrate experience of assessing and developing Occupational Therapy graded rehabilitation programmes for clients in a variety of settings.
