The shift pattern for this position is Monday-Friday.

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support families and individuals, in improving nutrition and oral health of individuals targeted by Dental Public Health Programmes.

The post holder will work under the direction and supervision of the team leader to provide individual interventions, which have been identified through a structured care plan.  These interventions are designed to support families and individuals with identified risks, to maintain and develop relationship with their children and carers, whilst developing their own oral health support skills. 

The post holder will work across a range of settings including the family home, Children’s residential care establishments, community and primary care dental service settings and will facilitate access to oral health promotion, dental preventive and treatment services through all Dental Public Health Programmes.
