The post of Clinical Governance Facilitator for Inverclyde HSCP Mental Health Services is an exciting new (seldom available) opportunity. The post holder will report directly to the Head of Service for Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services and oversee the management of clinical risk across this range of services.
The post holder will assume a lead role in the Root Cause Analysis of Critical Incidents by assisting with the establishment of multi-disciplinary review teams and supporting service managers to ensure subsequent action plans are in place; developing systems to enable feedback of actions taken and any trends identified via thematic analysis. The role will involve supporting all teams to have oversight, management and learning from incidents, risks and quality outcomes.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong inter-personal skills, be organised and possess robust IT skills including efficiency in the use of Microsoft packages and IT systems. The post holder will provide data to support oversight of quality and patient safety ensuring compliance with local and national policies, procedures and legislation.
The post holder will be a motivated and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to work under their own initiative; educated to Degree standard or possess equivalent experience and knowledge.
