The shift patterns are as follows:
MONDAY TO FRIDAY

A) 1600-1930pm- 17.5 hours

B) 0800-1400- 30 hours

C) 0700-1030-17.5 hours

D) 0730-1130- 20 hours

E) 1200noon- 1830-30 hours


SATURDAY & SUNDAY

F) 0700-1500-15 hours

G) 0600-1400-15 hours

H) 1600-1930-7 hours


You will be asked to confirm the shifts that you are interested on on your application form. 

Please be advised that there is no guarantee that you will be allocated your preference/s as the hours will be offered based on service needs.

The salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

To work as part of the Catering Team, assisting in all aspects of food preparation, delivery, service, wash-up and cleaning duties relating to the provision of catering services to patients, staff, visitors and for functions.

Knowledge, training and experience:

  • Knowledge of all aspects of catering services although Induction training will be provided to new starts.
  • Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (training provided).
  • Meals Regeneration and Service (training provided).
  • Good communication and customer care skills.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH (training provided).
  • Knowledge of Lifting & Handling (training provided).
  • Knowledge of Infection Control practices (training provided).
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
