A new and exciting vacancy has arisen within FVRH service for a innovative and enthusiastic individual to take up the post of Advanced nurse practitioner (ANP) in Acute Liaison for the Learning disability service. You will be supported and work closely with the wider learning disability service.

The ANP will provide consultancy and guidance whilst communicating and supporting the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the spectrum of learning disability within the acute hospital. The candidate must be registered as a first level learning disability nurse with previous experience and management of working with individuals with learning disability.

This post will also be considered as in training position under Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change terms & conditions and will support the development of individuals to meet advanced practice competencies through the triangulation approach of academic course, mentorship and clinical supervision. Applications for trainee posts should have demonstrated evidence of undertaking courses relevant to the Advanced practice pathway.
