The Post:

This is a challenging opportunity to help harness the buying power across the NHS in Scotland. National Procurement, the Procurement Centre of Expertise for Health, works in collaboration with Health Boards to ensure the highest level of patient care through the provision of a wide range of goods and services via a series of best value National Contracts and Distribution Services

Your role will be to liaise with customers on all aspects of the business of NSS Logistics to ensure customer satisfaction and a high quality of service is maintained at all times. You will also ensure compliance with NSS Logistics health, safety and security procedures and adhere to risk assessments and safe systems of work.
An ability to develop and learn new skills, follow instructions and procedures while working both as part of a team and on your own initiative are essential.

In addition, to assist the delivery of NSS Logistics Inventory with the processes to facilitate credit and re-order of post transactional issues: customer SO’s / re-orders / urgent and emergency picks / credits and encourage the practices of good loose equipment control within the inventory, warehouse management, transport teams and ultimately across the customer base.

The Candidate:

A working knowledge of our Warehouse Dispatcher system would be advantageous as would a knowledge of Service Now.

Location and Working Pattern:

The post will be based at the National Distribution Centre, 2 Swinhill Avenue, Larkhall ML9 2QX.  

 The department is open between the hours of 08.00 –17.30. Currently hybrid working. 

The post is 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday. 

We operate 3 shift patterns Monday - Thursday - 08.00 - 16.00, 09.00 - 17.00, 09.30 - 17.30.

And 2 shift patterns on a Friday  0800 – 1600  and  0900 - 1700.

Shifts are on a Rota basis.

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
