The shift pattern is Monday-Friday.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Orthopaedic unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, working with Trauma and Elective patients.

The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner in managing a complex clinical caseload and as an effective and efficient partner in the multi-disciplinary team. They will share responsibility for day to day operational issues within the team, and be involved in service improvement, staff development, supervision, clinical effectiveness and student education.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and core Occupational Therapy skills and be able to apply these in treatment of Orthopaedic patients. They will be able to prioritise and work in a busy and fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a self-motivating and dynamic approach.

The successful candidate will have a diploma/degree in Physiotherapy and a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience. The post required PVG scheme membership/Disclosure Scotland check and HCPC registration.
