Senior Sleep and Home Ventilation Nurse
Band 6
Part time, fixed term (maternity cover 12 months) post: 18.3hrs/week, Mon-Fri (must include Thursdays)
An exciting opportunity for a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Sleep and Home Ventilation Team in Grampian has arisen. We are looking for an experienced and fully autonomous Nurse with experience of respiratory care and ventilation with a high level of demonstrable technical ability and motivation for supervision / teaching of others. Applications are also welcomed from other registered healthcare professionals with relevant experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in both service delivery and supervision of others whilst working in a fast-paced and evolving service.
The role requires provision of a range of clinical and technical services for the monitoring of sleep disordered breathing and ventilation failure with home ventilation and other supportive equipment
Working in partnership with the multidisciplinary team, the role involves ensuring a high standard of care for patients, their relatives and their carers.
Ideally you will have several years’ experience working in a respiratory team / ward and can demonstrate competence in ventilation. You should hold current NMC registration (or equivalent for other Health professionals).
