A vacancy has arisen within the Endoscopy Department for an Endoscopy Decontamination Technician.
The Endoscopy Decontamination Unit requires a hard working enthusiastic person who is flexible in their approach, have an eye for detail and will enjoy working within a busy environment. Across site working may at times be required.
The core activity of this position is compliant decontamination process, which includes dis-assembly, manual cleaning, disinfection and re-assembly of endoscopes & medical devices.
The department currently operates between 8am & 8pm Monday to Friday
Occasional weekend working is required Saturday & Sunday 8am to 4pm.
There is a requirement to be flexible throughout these hours when required.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
