The shift pattern is negotiable, within Monday – Friday 9.00-17.00.

Occupational Therapist (Band 5)(0.5WTE/18.75 hours)
Renfrewshire Occupational Therapy Community Mental Health Services
We are looking for a creative and innovative Occupational Therapist who is confident in his or her core skills to take up the exciting opportunity of becoming part of the Renfrewshire Occupational Therapy Community Mental Health Services. You will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative clinical style will be essential. Responsibilities may include care management/key worker responsibility of clients with severe and/or enduring mental health difficulties, specialist occupational therapy assessment and treatment for both individuals and groups. You will also be responsible for making recommendations to facilitate safe and independent living.
A key role will be involvement in supporting clients with recovery through structure to their day including vocational rehabilitation, access to leisure and education and employability through individual and group work.
You will be part of a dedicated Occupational Therapy MH service lead by a Team Lead and Band 6/5 staff.
You will receive professional support and supervision from a senior Specialist Occupational Therapist, will gain access to appropriate training and will have protected CPD time.
