Full Time – 37 hrs - (Part time hours considered)
Band 8b (pending job evaluation) Salary Range £67,285 - £71,978 per annum
Can also be offered as a Band 8a Development Opportunity
Distant Island Allowance of £2,256 per annum
A Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 is available
Due to retirement of the current Podiatry Head of Service we have redesigned our small teams to create an exciting opportunity and are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Podiatrist to lead both Podiatry and Orthotic services for NHS Shetland.
The post holder will be passionate about providing high quality leadership and management to ensure teams are effective in delivering valuable outcomes and sustainable services in response to the ever-changing needs of Shetland communities.
This post also incorporates an approximate commitment to 40% clinical Podiatry work, but you will have flexibility to allow you to deliver effectively on all aspects of the role.
You will be welcomed into the wider AHP Leadership team with opportunities to lead, deliver and promote AHP and Organisational priorities. There are excellent personal development opportunities, and the post holder will be encouraged and supported in CPD and service improvement activities.
