NHS Forth Valley Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are recruiting Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist’s to support and contribute to the developing neurodevelopmental pathway within the CAMH Service and the Paediatric Neurodevelopment Service. The service’s aim to support children and young people and their families that require specialist assessment and intervention relating to NDD allowing access to services and support at the earliest opportunity.
NHS Forth Valley CAMHS is a well established Multidisciplinary service with an innovative senior management team. The PNDS & NDD CAMHS Pathway has current resource from psychology, psychiatry and Allied Health Professionals.
We support children and young people aged from 0 to 18 years and their carers/families and offer a range of highly specialist physical and psychological assessments and interventions, which often includes multi-agency work with our partners. We are committed to the aim of placing the needs of children and young people at the centre of the partnerships we establish with families. These posts are an excellent opportunity to be part of a transforming, high functioning service.
NHS Forth Valley CAMHS/PNDS clinicians receive regular clinical and operational supervision and supportive line management, including job planning. As part of job planning, all staff are promoted to establish and develop areas of specialist clinical interest and we have a varied in-house programme of clinical Continued Professional Development. We also have very good links with national bodies and robust links with training institutions.
