An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our skilled team, delivering acute surgical care for the population of NHS Tayside. Due to the continued improvement and development of our Acute Surgical Receiving Unit, Ninewells Hospital, we are seeking to appoint individuals with the skills and passion to deliver care in this fast paced environment.
The Acute Surgical Receiving Unit (ASRU) sits within the Surgical Directorate, and comprises of Acute Surgical Assessment, supporting short stay surgical intervention. Urgent care provides an excellent opportunity for any individual to enhance their acute surgical skills at an advanced level.
You will work within a highly skilled team that values patient safety and delivery of safe, effective high quality care within a challenging surgical environment. You should be committed to provide a high standard of professional nursing care, with a proven ability to influence changes in practice. You should be able to work well within a large and diverse team and demonstrate your ongoing learning with supporting evidence.
Registered Nurse with valid UK NMC Registration.
