Applications are invited for our Acute Internal Medicine LAT 4 (Locum Appointment for Training) post. This post is available from 7 August 2024 to 5 August 2025 and is based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
The main duties of the post include senior support in our medical receiving and ambulatory emergency care areas, alongside time spent in our medical high dependency unit. There is also an out of hours commitment to the general medicine senior on call rota.
This posts hold educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will be recognized for training.
Applicants should have a satisfactory ARCP outcome from IMT Stage 1 (reflecting completion of training) or appropriate alternative certification.
Applicants may be eligible for excess travel and relocation expenses. Information regarding nationally agreed excess travel and relocation are contained in NHS Circular PCS(DD) 2010/8.
