The post requires you to support the effective clinical care by providing an efficient administrative service to all levels of staff within the CAMHS team.

Ensure patient appointments for clinics, day cases and outpatient appointments are administered and processed accurately, within the 18 week guidelines and Patient Access Policy and that patients’ medical records remain confidential, are securely stored and are available as and when necessary. 

To meet the requirements of this post you would ideally have experience of NHS organisational processes and structures, however, the ability to cope with the pace of a demanding role is essential.   You should demonstrate a professional manner. 

You must have excellent communication and IT skills and although the post is supervised you should demonstrate that you have the ability to prioritise your own workload. 

Knowledge of the NHS TrakCare system would be an advantage although not essential. 

You will also be required to work as part of a team, therefore, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, although there may be occasions when you will be required to work alone and as such you will require the ability to work well under pressure and have a flexible approach to the needs of the department are essential. 

Induction, training, support and supervision will be provided.
