The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Fri, 9.00am-5.00pm

We are looking for a competent and motivated individual to provide reception and admin cover at the Acorn Centre, Vale of Leven Hospital. The post holder will be expected to work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and support colleagues as required. In addition to reception duties, the post holder will provide admin and secretarial support to Paediatricians, Nurses and AHPs. This support will include data input, record management, room booking, sending opt in letters, booking appointments, maintaining databases and general typing. The post holder will have a competent and flexible approach with the ability to switch between tasks in response to changing demands and frequent interruption to work during their planned working day.

The post holder will have previous experience of working with Microsoft Office packages, evidenced by previous work experience or formal qualification e.g. ECDL. It is essential that the post holder has experience of working in a secretarial/admin post, holds a typing qualification, has good keyboard skills and is competent in the use of computer systems. It is desirable that applicants have experience of systems appropriate to this role. These include EMIS Web, CHI, SCI Store, Care First, PECOS, and Trakcare.
