Due to promotion, we have a vacancy for a band 5 speech and language therapist in this beautiful part of the country. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the friendly and supportive adult speech and language therapy team in Forth Valley.  This post offers an exciting opportunity to work with adults who have a range of acquired communication support needs and eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties.  The successful candidate will work from both Forth Valley Royal Hospital and Stirling Community Hospital.   They will work in a range of clinical settings in partnership with a variety of multi-disciplinary teams.  Experience of assessing and working with adults is required but there will also be the opportunity for in-house training and CPD opportunities.  Individuals will be supported by an SLT clinical lead and a range of other senior colleagues.

A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration are essential.

The post requires travel within Forth Valley, transporting therapy materials and potentially making visits to places not on direct public transport routes.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
