An opportunity has arisen within the Endoscopy unit for an Associate Practitioner Endoscopy. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working individuals who will be part of our multi-disciplinary team. We require you to have good communication skills, be flexible and adaptable. You are required to work well within a team whilst using your own initiative.
The post holder will have already completed the Endoscopy Assistant Practitioner Programme through NES and NHS Scotland Academy, provide essential care and support to the patients undergoing endoscopic procedures within our ambulatory care unit at FVRH.
As a practitioner you will have responsibility for assessment, supervision of care needs and delivery of person centred care while supporting clinical care standards within the endoscopy suite environment ensuring that Quality Standards and Key Performance Indicators are met. The postholder will be expected to work in the various areas of the Endoscopy suite including recovery and treatment areas.
This post requires the individual to have a good level of IT knowledge.
These posts are rotational predominantly day shift with weekend work and the successful candidates will be expected to be flexible to meet the demands of the organisation.
