Fife Integration Joint Board are seeking an ambitious individual who is passionate about community health, social work and social care services and can help us achieve our vision to enable people in Fife to live long and Healthy Lives and to transform Health and Care in Fife to be the sector leading.

Fife Integration Joint Board are looking for a collaborative and compassionate leader with significant experience of transforming health and social care services, leading across complex organisations in a changing landscape.

As most Senior Officer to the Integration Joint Board, you will support good governance and bring together colleagues from across Fife Council, NHS Fife, and partners in the third and independent sectors, service users, carers, professional advisors, and staff representatives. Leading and overseeing the delivery of Fife Health and Social Care Strategic Plan; Promoting peoples wellbeing within their localities, Enabling Sustainable outcomes and supporting the next phase of the development of flourishing Integration in Fife.

As Director of Health and Social Care you will report jointly to the Chief Executives of NHS Fife and Fife Council and be an active member of both Executive Teams. You will lead the Senior Health and Social Care Partnership Leadership Team to deliver a large and diverse range of operational services across social work, Primary Care, community hospitals, care homes, intermediate care, day care, Mental Health, Learning Disability, Children's Health Services, Specialist Services, Palliative Care, Prevention and Early Intervention, Community Care Health Services and Social Care Services, Business Enabling and Professional Standards - working together as systems leaders supporting better living within Fife's Communities.

As IJB Chief Officer and Director of HSCP, you will be responsible for further integration of local services, and providing strategic leadership to address the opportunities and challenges which face many health and social care organisations across the country - including increased demand, recruitment and workforce retention, financial challenge and the implementation of new technologies and innovation.

Managing an annual budget of circa £680m the Board has responsibility for strategic planning, commissioning, and overseeing operational delivery to meet its Strategic Plan and the nine National Health and Wellbeing Outcomes in line with the Principles of Integration. As IJB Chief Officer and Director of HSCP you will have a key role in supporting and delivering our priorities.

You will have extensive experience as a transformational leader with a commitment to Fife's Health & Social Care Partnership.
