Diabetes Nurse Specialist Secondary Care Services


An exciting opportunity for a Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join the team in NHS Grampian, based within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Nurse with a warm personality and great people skills.

We are looking to recruit a Full-time Secondary care Diabetes Nurse Specialist, Band 6 to work across acute services as part of the Grampian Diabetes Nursing Team. The role includes responsibility for a mixed caseload including people with Type 1, Complex Type 2 and other types of Diabetes but also supporting / educating other healthcare professionals on diabetes and its management. The post requires you to have a knowledge of diabetes technologies.  

The ability to work as both part of a team and autonomously is essential, as our team of highly innovative and motivated individuals deliver diabetes care in Grampian. This opportunity will be rewarding as there are many challenges ahead.
