Clinical Development Fellowships (CDF)
Critical Care Fixed term from 7th August for 1 year
Full time - 40 hrs
Salary Scale - £40,995 - £64,461 per annum (pro rata if part time)

Applications are invited from trainee doctors having recently completed or about to finish Core Speciality Training (or equivalent) to apply for the position of Clinical Development Fellow (CDF) in Critical Care. There is 1 post available. Experience in critical care working is essential.
This exciting post will work covering the range of level 1 to level 3 care delivered in our Intensive Care Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. In addition, as a CDF, you will have protected at least 6 hours per week of development time and 2 hours of delivery of education/training with the multidisciplinary team. The remaining period will be spent in clinical work in and out of hours, and may include time in other specialities by arrangement. The department has a commitment to teaching, training, research and service development and we would expect any applicant to be enthusiastic about contributing to this work.
The appointment will be on a fixed term and full-time basis (40 hrs) and remuneration will be determined by the pay and conditions of hospital medical and dental staff.
The Intensive Care Unit in Forth Valley Royal Hospital provides ICU and HDU care for medical and surgical patients from across the acute hospital. We have 19 beds in a modern well provisioned unit. We maintain strong links to the Department of Anaesthetics but work closely with all areas of acute services in the hospital and a wide range of Allied Health Professionals.
