THIS VACANCY IS BASED ON THE ISLE OF ARRAN
Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Porter/Ground/Handyman based at Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine.
What you will do:
You will maintain high standards in line with the Hotel Services Specification, ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standards/environmental policy throughout the hospital. To provide a comprehensive Portering / Grounds Maintenance & General Estates Maintenance service to meet the needs of clients and fulfil the objectives of the organisation.
You will deliver samples to the mainland and delivery and collection of prescriptions to and from local pharmacy. Handyman skills and a level of practicality is essential. The role also supports the clinical stores role, where 2 people are required supplying and uplifting beds or larger items to patients homes.

Hours:
37 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday
As part of this role you will be required to be apart of an on-call rota.
Car Licence / Car Ownership
A driving licence is essential for this role.
