Are you looking for a new challenge, we are looking to recruit an individual with a genuine interest in working within the Out-of-Hours (OOH) Night Nursing team as a Band 6 Senior Registered Nurse.  The OOH Night Nursing team is based in FVRH.

This post requires flexibility in shift patterns including weekends and public holidays.

The successful applicant will deliver a high standard of care to patients who have complex needs in their own homes or a homely setting. The potholder will provide line management, leadership as well as supporting the development of the OOH nursing team.

Therefore excellent management, leadership, communication, decision making and organisational skills are essential to support continual quality improvement ensuring safe delivery of the service.

It is essential that the successful applicant has the following qualifications Advanced Clinical Examination (ACE) / Non-Medical Prescribing or a willingness to work toward these qualifications within the first 12 – 18 months.  The successful applicant will be paid at Annex 21 of Band 6 until   relevant courses are completed.

Previous community experience would be beneficial.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
