An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to take up the position of Health Improvement Service Manager. This post currently has some pan Forth Valley responsibility in addition to supporting the Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership.
The post-holder provides leadership for the development of health improvement strategies and activities with the overall aim of improving health and reducing health inequalities in line with national and local priorities and needs. The post-holder manages the development and commissioning of specific services, which contribute to health improvement in conjunction with the integrated Health and Social Care Partnerships across Forth Valley with key responsibility for the Health Promotion staff within the Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership.
The post demands a high level of operational management and leadership skills and experience around the health improvement agenda. The post holder will hold a relevant first level degree and a post graduate qualification in public health/health promotion or equivalent at masters’ level. The post holder will have demonstrable specialist health promotion/health improvement experience as well as leadership and management of team experience.
