Band 7 Highly Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist
37 hours per week, permanent post
Stroke Rehabilitation, Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen City H&SCP
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our in-patient Stroke Rehabilitation service at Woodend Hospital. This post will involve leadership of an OT team, working alongside the specialist multi-disciplinary team. Experience of working within stroke or neuro at a senior level, and managing junior staff is essential for this post.
Regular supervision and training of students are integral parts of the job, as is service development and improvement. Opportunities for continued professional development and supervision are provided.
There may be a requirement in the future for weekend working / Public holiday working to meet the service needs.
With future service developments, flexibility to work within both the in-patient and out-patient service within patients homes and the community may be required to support discharge.
