An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic registered nurse to be involved in the expanding Immunisation Team in NHS Forth Valley. As a member of the team, nurse will liaise closely with other departments and agencies involved in immunisation as well as with partner agencies and local communities assisting in raising the awareness of immunisation needs and facilitate immunisation activity.

The Immunisation team will provide advice and support on immunisations and assist in supporting many of the national immunisation programmes currently delivered in Forth Valley and also in developing new and changing immunisation programmes in the future.

The successful candidates will have a positive attitude and high levels of interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience in immunising would be advantageous, but individuals with keen interest and potential, from other nursing backgrounds, will also be considered. Applicants should be able to adapt to unpredictable workloads in variety of school, health and community settings and be able to meet the physical and emotional demands of working in an Immunisation Team.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout Forth Valley is essential for this post.
