Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) have a Senior Learning and Development Officer (Autism Resource Centre/Neurodiversity).  This is an integrated post as part of the GCHSCP, the successful applicant may choose to be appointed to the post under the terms and conditions of either Glasgow City Council or NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.

 GCC Grade:  Grade 7 (£40,797 - £47,477), GCC hours per week: 35

NHS Grade:  Band 6 (£37,831 - £46,100), NHS hours per week: 37

Applications are welcome from individuals who have a commitment to the development of people and services that support Autism and Neurodiversity.  If you enjoy working with people and helping them to reflect, learn and develop their practice – this could be the perfect job for you.

The post develops and delivers training to staff across the partnership and Education Services on the principles of how best we support autistic and neurodivergent children in our city.  Working to the the Autism Professional Learning framework, in line with the Children's Transformational agenda the post holder will coach staff to become autism trainers/champions.  

Applicants must evidence: sound articulation skills; influencing and networking skills, an ability to involve people with experience in the design of learning interventions; organisational and administrative skills.

The post holder will be qualified to SCQF Level 9 with a relevant qualification in Social Care, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Education or Speech and Language Therapy.
