Wildcat Cardiac Responders are volunteers who have been trained by the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) to attend specific medical emergencies and deliver basic life support in the event of a cardiac arrest. The SAS utilises Wildcat volunteers to compliment core ambulance resources.

The role of the Cardiac Responder Development Lead is to lead on co-ordination of training, development and support for c. 200 Wildcat responders in North region, through effective relationship management and the provision of direction, guidance and motivation. The role will also be responsible for the further national development of the Wildcat responder network in key areas across Scotland.

This is an exciting time to join the Community Resilience team, as we work to implement a programme of developments which will contribute to the delivery of improved patient outcomes and enhance the SAS volunteering experience.

This is a full time position working 37 hours Monday to Friday, with weekend and evening working as required.
