An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Public Health Team based in Elgin, Morayshire for a permanent, 37 hour, Band 7 Public Health Team Leader.

This post is suitable for applicants who hold a first level degree and/or a professional qualification relevant to Public Health. A thorough understanding of health improvement theory & practice is essential.

The successful post holder will predominantly be based at Moray Council Headquarters, Elgin. The post will be a combination of office and home based working.

The applicant should be motivated and enthusiastic about Public Health and in particular, Health Improvement and a Community led health approach. The post is responsible for leading on the development, implementation and evaluation of public health programmes for improving the health and well-being and reducing inequalities of the Moray population.

A full, current drivers licence and access to a car is essential.
