Specialty Doctor Paediatrician in Community Child Health

The successful applicant will join a dynamic Community Child Health Department, within a Combined Child Health Service of NHS Grampian. They will join the Team of Consultants, Associate Specialists and Specialty Doctors who provide a range of Community based Paediatric Services to children and young people living in and around Aberdeenshire. This is a fixed term post for 6 months.


The post offers exciting opportunities to work within Child Development and Neuro Disability Services, delivered in community settings, whilst based within the Community Child Health Department at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. The department are an integral part of Combined Child Health and strong links exist with general Paediatric Departments, CAMHS and other Paediatric specialties based in the hospital.
