An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Home Support Nurse to join the Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership.
The successful candidates will undertake supportive visits within Care Homes across Aberdeen City and provide advice and guidance to support the implementation of improvement work through education and sharing of best practice. The post holders will work with the care home staff and ACH&SCP colleagues to support homes to meet care requirements using a quality improvement approach.
Successful applicants will have excellent communication and team working skills, have an interest in infection prevention and control and be passionate about supporting the delivery of high quality care in the Care Home setting. Additional knowledge and experience related to tissue viability and/or palliative and end of life care are being sought to complement the areas of interest of our current team members.
Post-registration experience is required, ideally in a public health, quality improvement or infection prevention and control role, however, applications from other registered nurses who have transferable skills and a passion for working in the community setting will also be considered.
This a full-time, fixed term post, however part-time hours will also be considered. Please note on your application what hours you are looking for and this can be discussed further at interview.
