We are seeking an exceptional Senior Charge Nurse to join our team and lead our trauma and emergency operating theatres. With four Trauma/Emergency theatres and a dedicated workforce of 50 skilled professionals, we are a busy and fast-paced department committed to delivering exceptional, 24/7 patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 50 staff members across four trauma and emergency operating theatres.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of care and efficiency in a demanding environment.
- Drive recruitment efforts, attracting top talent to join our exceptional team.
- Implement and manage organisational changes to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
- Make difficult decisions with confidence and clarity, prioritising patient care and team wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior nursing role within perioperative setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successful team management.
- Expertise in recruitment, organizational changes, and implementing necessary changes.
- Energetic, adaptable, and charismatic, with a passion for innovation and improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of inspiring and motivating a team.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, high-pressure environment, making sound decisions under pressure.
