GP Maternity Cover Locum
Bennochy Medical Centre, Kirkcaldy
4 Session Maternity Leave Locum Required
Salary: £280 per session
(Full Day Thursday and Friday Preferably)
5th November 2024 – Mid August 2025
Are you looking to work amongst a primary care team devoted to holistic patient care and training doctors for the future? Then apply to become our maternity leave locum at Bennochy Medical Centre. Bennochy is in central Fife, with Edinburgh around 35 minutes away, easily commutable from many areas outside Fife.
• 12 Minute appointments
• 24 appointments per day (mixture of face to face appointments and telephone consultations)
• Protected weekly admin time
• Supportive atmosphere with informal daily coffee breaks for case discussions/management of daily issues and time to chat!
• Nurse Practitioner minor ailment clinics, and practice nurse led chronic disease clinics, with a well integrated practice based community district nursing and CTAC team
• Large free car park
• Well established and respected postgraduate and undergraduate training practice
• Friendly, supportive multi-disciplinary team committed to providing high quality and patient centred care
• Locally based health visitors
• In-house services provided e.g. minor surgery, family planning and child health surveillance
• EMIS and Docman clinical IT systems, MJOG and Lexacom users.
• GMS practice, 9400 patients
• 7 GP Partners 4.9 WTE
• Medical records fully digitalised
• Recently completed practice renovations, comprising of 4 additional consulting rooms, new reception and new interview room.
