  • To lead in all aspects of clinical work assigned by Head of Respiratory Physiology Service, with particular responsibility for highly specialised tests and assessments.
  • To provide expert respiratory clinical physiology advice and support to Primary Care, University Hospitals and other services within South East Scotland.
  • The post holder may be required to deputise for the Head of the Respiratory Physiology Service.
  • To cover for the Highly Specialist Physiologist working with the Transplant and Vascular teams.

To lead in new developments, research projects, training and promotion of the service assigned by Head of Respiratory Physiology Service.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
